Inspired by rain, Monsoon at ELEMENTS mall is a living, breathing expression of nature at its generous and natural best in the format of a bar & restaurant in Hong Kong.

The ELEMENTS restaurant and bar bring the very best flavours and textures, tastes and styles to the Elements mall by award-winning Chef Will Meyrick, who is famous for his bold usage of vibrant spices and native ingredients, giving a new and refreshing punch to the heritage dishes. Monsoon combines inventive and inspiring takes on classic Southeast Asian fare served in exotic and vibrant Art Deco interiors reminiscent of the colonial architecture still lovingly preserved across the region.

Designed and curated by Chef Meyrick, Monsoon’s menu is the heart and soul of a Hong Kong restaurant that focuses and specialises in bringing you all the traditional dishes that have made the world fall in love with Thai food. Leading the restaurant is our celebrated Thai Chef Gede Budiana, who has worked closely alongside Will Meyrick for many years. Chef Budiana’s Balinese background and innovative approach create a style that showcases the very best flavours and textures of Thai food rarely found in Hong Kong.

Monsoon’s main dining room is complemented by a private dining room and an elegant elements bar area where guests sample from the restaurant's comprehensive cocktail and wine lists. Its exquisite interior design is inspired by traditional Thai and Southeast Asian aesthetics to bring Hong Kong’s restaurant guests on an authentic journey into the heritage.

The combined use of bamboo and honey-hued wood creates a heartwarming and intimate setting, while the presence of forest green and vibrant floral textiles throughout the restaurant adds an element of nostalgia reminiscent of the region’s colonial architecture. All of this, combined with golden, dreamy lighting will allow you to unwind from the city life and take a trip back in time.

Monsoon serves to compliment your schedule, as we offer menus for lunch, high tea, dinner, as well as an extensive selection of a la carte dishes. Our menu features fresh, mouth-watering ingredients and artistic dishes that are enjoyed in homes across Southeast Asia. Our satay and wood grill selections will delight any palate, and our authentic Thai, Malay, and Indonesian curries are the epitome of culinary art.
